Gahh, I really loved this one. While it's not super heavy on plot, I actually didn't mind it. We see two "worlds" colliding, basically, as Hunter, Edin and Charlie get to the Nebraska camp and meet everyone there. It's fun to have them all together. I love found families and this one is shaping up to be an epic one.

Anyway, Charlie's group comes with the message Cat gave them in book 2 and that leads to him and Moth setting out to go free him from the prison. What follows is the two traveling across the wastes and visiting cities in search of Cat. The main focus is really on these two, their relationship that grows as they travel. The rest felt secondary to that, but like I said, I didn't mind it at all! Because these two are so fucking sweet together.

Charlie is kind and caring and kind of sunshiney, but not at all a push-over. He's so respectful of Moth's boundaries and so patient and understanding with him. But also low-key a total badass. He's just very... solid, as a person. Meanwhile, Moth... Gahhhhhhhh. Moth. I loved him so much. He acts like an uncaring asshole, but it's really a shield. It's his armor. Because he's been so alone and miserable and hurting all his life and I just wanted to give him all the cuddles. All he wants is to be accepted and loved for who he is and my heart just ached for him at times.

I won't go into plot details, obviously, but I really liked all of it. And the end made me so excited for book 6!
Because everyone's at the camp now, even Danny and Wyn!
But it also made me swoon and tear up.

Another reason to be excited for book 6 is the fact that this is Lilac and Seraph's book. I am so excited. I have a feeling I'll need tissues closeby.
