This was just the kind of read I’ve been looking for. I love the historical characters, especially since most of everyone mentioned I only know by name or reputation. I’ve never given much thought to the music scene in this time period and now my interest is piqued. I could do some nitpicking, but I’ve opted to rate by personal enjoyment rather than technicality. Even though I didn’t care for Kay’s character, I was hooked on the story.
