A sweet romance with some sex. Sarah inherited her grandmother's bookstore in a little town. Her grandmother had raised her and Sarah loved books. She hadn't much money though. Maxime was an actor who was always in trouble for fighting. At last he had one fight too many, and his lawyer and agent and an old friend manged to just keep him out of jail by community service. Helping Sarah with her bookstore, making repairs and keeping it running. He had to pay a fee to Sarah to work there, which would help her with the costs of her restoration and give her a little money in the book to afford what needed to be done. He had to wear an ankle monitor and was only allowed 2 hours during the day when he could be elsewhere. His friend helped with one of those hours by going running with him in the mornings so he could let off some steam. Sarah was terrified of Maxime's temper, but she was curious as to the reason for it.
