Great for ages 9-12. Funny, goofy, well-paced. It has some sweet/touching moments, doesn't shy from the hard stuff, but also doesn't sink too deep into them that a kid wouldn't be able to keep reading because of them.

If you can listen to the audiobook, do so. Jason Segel does the reading, and his voices are pure joy!
