-loved the worldbuilding and writing style!
-Unlike most YA fantasy protagonists, Ged is not the ~Chosen One~ saving humanity from the ~Dark Lord~; he's just a kid who messed up and is trying to deal with the consequences of his mistake.
-I love Ged's character development so much. The theme of guilt and how to overcome it resonated deeply with me.
-I am a sucker for little magical creatures like Ged's otak (is that what it's called? i read the book a year ago so I can't remember well), and the dragon was absolutely delightful
-I was surprised by the poc main characters because I wasn't expecting that from a book written in the 1960's. I love how matter-of-fact the poc-ness was
