Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir

4.0

It got a bit stuck in the weeds when it came to world building and I wish there’d been some sort of crash course before thrusting the reader into pages and pages of jargon.

But the characters make up for it tbh. It sucks that I sort of had to *hand wave* away entire portions because it was too deep-lore for me, but Gideon is a treasure. Can’t wait to see what Harrow gets up to in the next one!
