Only for Us by Cristin Harber
4.0
Only For Us continues where we left off at the end of the second installment. Everyone knows that Grayson is alive and back for good ... and that he wants Emma back. But there's also Cally, his daughter, he didn't know about. Naturally, Emma's family is not a huge fan of Grayson anymore - they think he'd only hurt Emma and Cally again, so he has to deal with all of that too.
What I really like about this series is that it's short. I'm usually not a big fan of short stories/serials that are basically like a novella but here I really don't mind. It feels like you're watching something on TV because it's easy to picture and well described.
Grayson and Emma are slowly (or well, not so slow) getting back to how it was before and are trying to build a life together with Cally. I have to say that I absolutely adore this little kid! She's so, so cute and extremely lovely and I could picture her perfectly. Her curiosity, her playfulness and whenever she talked it was heartwarming! The relationship between her and Emma is another plus, although we didn't get to see a lot of that in this book - it's mainly about Grayson and Emma dealing with their past and moving on.
I'm really curious about the forth and last installment of the series, Only Forever, and hope to see some interaction between Cally and her daddy! I just need Grayson to be a great dad. So badly. I can already picture all those important scenes and hope there'll be loads of it in the book!
