3.5 stars rounded down. This book wasn’t horrible but I’m not sure it was for me. So many parts of it were more cringe then I could handle. The mystery had me intrigued in the beginning but I felt like small reveals happened too fast and kind of took away some of the anticipation. I also was not super into the main characters (which may be because this is technically in a “series” with the MCs being regulars and I didn’t get that connection with them from only 1 book).
This genre that I refer to as mass market mystery might just not be for me. But if you’re in to that then this is the book for you!
