Crossing in Time by D.L. Orton

First off I want to say thank you so much to the author for gifting this kindle book to me in exchange for an honest review. When I started reading this I didn't know what to expect but I can tell you I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. It is told in multiple points of view which for me personally I am not a huge fan of. I feel like this cant be classified into one genre. I mean you get romance, humor, a little bit of action, etc. Plus there is time travel which I have never read any books about time travel before. It was fast paced. I love when authors get right to it from the beginning and don't take forever to build the story up. I started this book and before I knew it I was already half way through it. It was a quick read for me and I probably could have finished it quicker if I picked the book up before 9 or 10 o'clock at night. This book had me from chapter one. I love the romance between Isabel and Diego. I also loved how there were gay characters in the story. I don't read very many books that include gay characters and I love to see authors stepping away from the norm. Poor Iz and Diego I mean from the very first chapter they have some not so great things happening and it is that way all throughout the book. Your left with a cliffhanger which isn't a bad thing it just sets you up for the next book but I hate having to wait I am so impatient lol. You don't find out if everything that Diego and Iz went through was actually worth it or not in this book. I know I am not doing this book any justice with my review because I am not very good at writing so I will say if you haven't read this you really need to. It does have mature content so I would say it is for mature audiences only.
