Queenie: Godmother of Harlem by Elizabeth Colomba

slow-paced

2.75

I’m more grateful for this book introducing me to Queenie, the historical figure rather than the actual execution. I’m much more likely to look for a biography than to suggest this. I wasn’t a huge fan of the graphics (there were numerous times I found myself going “what is that” or “what are they holding”) and the storyline while meant to seem exciting or thrilling just didn’t hit that way.
