This book was almost 600 pages, yet somehow I still wanted more. I knew Lucian and Sloane's story was going to be 10/10 based on their interactions from the previous books in the series, but holy moly they blew me out of the water. When I think enemies to lovers, this is all I will be thinking about. The hate was so palpable and real and the passion and lust that came with it was an absolute delight to witness. Also, Lucy Score completely nailed the slow burn, I couldn't get enough of the tension, the back and forth banter and insults, and the straight up denial from these two incredible characters. I really loved how present the other two couples were in this story and how important the friendships were throughout. This book was certainly heavy and I for sure found myself getting emotional and teary at several moments. But above all, I seriously couldn't put it down. It was so much more than a romance novel and with all the action happening in the sub plot, I was on the edge of my seat. The spice ws hot af, and I really cannot imagine a better pairing than Lucian and Sloane. I loved the other two books in this trilogy so much, but something about this one hits different in the best way. This is easily a new favorite book and I don't know how Lucy continues to best herself. Top tier book and amazing conclusion to this wonderful series! Also, the epilogue was so damn cute and I was definitely crying again, it's fine. No notes, absolutely obsessed.
