The September House by Carissa Orlando
4.0
First of all, I learned that I'm a sucker for bleeding walls; you've got bleeding walls, then I'm all in. Not sure why or what that says about me, but that's something to unpack another day.
Second of all, I want this to be a movie, because I can vividly see these "pranksters" and they're awesome.
The only reason for the missing star is because Margaret needed to stand up to Catherine and she didn't and that made me mad. I am a person that chooses my battles, and honestly, I let a lot slide, but if that were my daughter and she was mostly absent from the family (to the point she hadn't even seen the house you've lived in for the past 4 years), there's no way in hell I'd allow her to come in and talk to me like that.
Otherwise, this book was very fun and a little creepy, and surprisingly a little funny. I really liked it and will read more from this author.
