This book is EXACTLY the perfect faerie vibe. Mirrormask mixed with Labyrinth mixed with Doors of Chaos mixed with that cozy booth curated by a retired self taught hobby artist with a garden and a daughter at the indoor flea market. It reads more like a fever dream than having a gripping plot, but Faerie is supposed to feel that way, and I have a feeling it's the kind of book that you can reread over and over and it never gets old. Inspiring illustrations as well.
