This picks up where the first book Caraval ended and focuses on Donatella and the deal she had to make for the events of the first book. There is also the continuing story of who is Legend? This game is all about Tella trying to find her mother. It's fairly fast paced. There's not spice so much as there is A LOT of kissing and the emotions and physical reactions to the kissing, from Tella's point of view. It ends on a satisfying note that leaves you wanting more to see how it's all going to work out.
