An absolutely amazing group of short stories for children that teach lessons from Navajo Country. The characters are rich, the stories are deep and meaningful, and there are gorgeous illustrations to accompany the tales. While it appears "short" and I've even listed it as a "mini-read" do not be fooled -- there is a vast amount of knowledge being presented here.

I highly recommend this collection. It was one of my most anticipated books of 2017, and it did not disappoint.
