The Lawrence Browne Affair by Cat Sebastian

4.0

I was surprised by just how much I enjoyed this, but this book was actually really good! The characters and their development was good, and I just really liked Lawrence and especially Georgie. They were both very endearing, I loved how much they cared for each other, and they had genuine chemistry with one another--this book was satisfying as a (mostly) slow burn too, which is where some of my other recent romance reads have let me down too. It was nice to see the romantic tension build up slowly. Although I do think the third-act climax was kind of messy and confusing, this was overall a solid read and I'm so happy I chose it for my class.
