So many people with similar taste to me has recommended this, but I did not like it! The writing style felt very distant to me, almost like a summary or essay type thing?? This made it impossible to connect to and feel for the main character. I'm quite sad that I didn't like it, because the topic in itself is very interesting to me. I think it might just be the narrative style that doesn't really align with my taste.
