As with all short stories I wish for them to be longer - I’m not a suitable reader of them, always wanting more. It was the case with this one too. I loved the atmosphere, the character of Merowdis and her interactions with the animals. Even the trees had something to say and the prose on spiders was gorgeous.
I just want - no need more.
