I liked this book, and it was an excellent sequel to "The Hundredth Queen". My only problem with it was the level of creativity - I mean, ANOTHER tournament? It seemed like so much like the first one in that case.
I liked that Emily R. King included more of the bhutas and their powers. I liked the introduction of the new love interest.

Overall, this is a good book, but it is not one of my favorites.
