This story is grotesque with no reprieve in character structure or even a plot. It’s just a book of repeated sexual abuse and shock value. I almost felt like Tipper Gore reading this book - enough already!
Probably my biggest issue with Little Rot is so many of these characters have a connection to New Lagos that is barely explored outside of the underworld. How am I supposed to believe that the city is rotten if I don’t know anything about it? New Lagos barely felt like a setting when it was discussed like a character. Only finished this for my book club.
