Read in combination with [b:Something Like Summer|10213367|Something Like Summer (Seasons, #1)|Jay Bell|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1418858894s/10213367.jpg|15086656], this is definitely a 5 star (ie a book I would be happy with if it were all I had on a desert island). In short, it is supposed to be the other character's perspective on the same story. It is actually so much more than that... A beautiful insight about the complexity of coming to terms with one's homosexuality, struggling against interiorized homophobia... And a lovely story, beautifully written. I can't wait to read more books by Jay Bell.
