This is my second go at an Eric LaRocca short story collection, I do find them rather hit or miss. In this collection I really enjoyed “bodies are for burning” and “you’re not supposed to be here” but the rest were just ok to me. 

Eric LaRocca writes about some really weird shit and isn’t scared to really go full throttle with it which I really appreciate. Lots of body horror and taboo topics which I think he writes with respect. Appreciate the fact that his characters are queer!
