Everything about this series has checked off all the boxes that I require to rate a story 5 stars. Excellent spacing and character development, action, slower-burn romance that is not insta-love, fantasy setting, comedy throughout (seriously these books are hilarious!), a heroine that's actually SMART (without being OP) and fights for her survival. It's definitely been awhile since I've been so engrossed in a series and I am loving it! (Even if my bank account is not xD...).

I'm so glad that I randomly discovered the only season of this anime and am able to revisit and continue it this way! I'll probably be reading these over again in the future.
