I haven't read Gone Girl yet, but I heard several comparisons of both books. The Girl On The Train was gripping and exciting, most of all because of the constant switches of narration and the insight on each of the three female characters they provide. I suffered with the well written characters through all their unstable stages as the story that links them all together unfolds. Very good thriller, I would love to read more from Paula Hawkins in the future!
