The Woman in Me by Britney Spears

I enjoyed getting to learn more about Britney's early years and her rise to stardom. I knew most of the reveals going into this (from discussion about the book since it came out), but it was still interesting getting the full context. My big complaint is that there wasn't a clear like 'narrative' structure. She would jump around to things that had happened before the moment she was talking about (like when she talked about her great-grandma) or the fact that it seemed like she was over Justin and hanging out with Madonna and moving forward and then the book went back to, but I was still reeling and heartbroken over Justin... It felt a little whiplashy to go back to that and it did not seem like it was chronological in that moment as she seemed to be moving on from Justin and putting things in place to feeling like her again. It was just a little repetitive to me and not in a way that it was circling back to draw parallels or making some commentary about that moment... But I did like the insight into Britney and I did not mind that she didn't narrate the audiobook herself. Her reasoning for that made sense.
