This book is incredibly sweet and an absolute delight. I resonated very hard with the main character and it made me grateful all over again for having discovered theatre and the ways that being a stage manager made me break out of my shell. The characters hit just the right balance of having believably tween personalities and challenges, while also modeling excellent communication and problem solving that, in real life, might be a little above their development level but is a great thing to have in a story to show kids how to treat your friends. An excellent and heartwarming little story for all ages.
