This was such a good book.
These characters are absolutely the most lovable.

I fell completely in love with the first round of banter between the FMC and her best friend. (And no. I can Not remember their names. Stop judging me)

Then it completely hooked me when she met Kage.
He’s an absolute powerhouse with the filthiest mouth. Exactly how I expect Russians to be in my romance novels.
Bonus points for him also being rough and leaving his marks all over her whenever possible. So hot.

Honestly I had zero complaints about this book.
The plot was different and exciting and heartbreaking.
The sex was passionate and rough, and sexy as all hell, and had a some light bdsm elements to it. That really made the relationship explode into something even more beautiful.

The only reason it’s not a perfect 5 is that epilogue.
I prefer epilogues be used to show a glimpse into the couples’ HEA, maybe an extra sexy scene.
Instead it was the teaser for the next book. And that’s my least favorite thing ever.
I’m probably gonna read the next book. Because I just really dig this author’s style.
But 9/10 that’s not the case and so it just ends up feeling like a waste of a perfectly good ending to me.

I really loved this book.
