This was short but so intense from the very first page to the very last—packed with a solid plot, strong characters and some of the most grotesque, stomach turning horror and gore elements I’ve read in a while.
Adored the whole squad but Sadie was truly a favourite.
I also really appreciate how the author made sure to differentiate between Klan members and the creatures of this book. In doing so, the story adds a fantastical element without erasing the very true, very sordid history of the KKK and their crimes against black people.
