I’d heard so much about this thriller but my experience was a mixed one. I liked some of its elements - for example, the pacing towards the end of the book - yet, some others fell short. There were things added which didn’t really lead anywhere, just made everything weirder. Moreover, situations were a bit unrealistic at times. Usually, with some other genres, I don’t really mind as much when something is slightly unrealistic. However, when it comes to thrillers/mysteries, the variables need to make sense.
It was fun for what it was though and the premise was very smart and it was what initially motivated me to check out this book. I have to add that I was also listening to the audiobook simultaneously and I liked the way the tape chapters were recorded. I liked that it was the author who was narrating it :)
