One of the wildest revenge stories that I've come across in any form of media. We follow mercenary Monza Murcatto on her quest of revenge and it is a wild one. From the opening pages you are thrown into the action, and often times the hilarious dialogue between the characters. Many times throughout I was laughing one minute at something that was said and the next there is a bloody action scene taking place. At over 600 pages, the pacing was great. The time is dedicated to weaving this story together where Monza is confronted with challenges of all sorts, which keeps the plot moving. Monza and the crew she recruits are the true stars of the story. One character outside of Monza ends up being a favorite of mine. The book exists within the First Law world, so several of the characters featured in this book were minor characters in that original trilogy.
