This is the third instalment in the Dream Harbour series, with each one I read I contemplate if it is my favourite, but this one truly is! I love Dream Harbour and everything it has to offer. I have enjoyed the setting of each book, and this one did not disappoint, I really thought the book store setting would be my favourite but there is something about the Christmas tree farm that I truly fell in love with, Laurie does such a good job of world building that you can really visualise the farm, with the dogs running around, the snow and all the Christmas lights, just so beautiful. I could also really relate to Bennett and Kira, with crippling anxiety and the chronic need to people please I could really understand some of the decisions they made.
I love how each book centres around a new couple but we still get to see the others and how their relationships develop, I love the friendship group and the banter that is growing between all of them. I am looking forward to seeing how the group continues to develop and grow.
I didn’t know that Bennett having a domiant side was something I needed, but I did, and I loved it. Again I have said it with each one but the spice in this book has been my favourite so far, I loved how confident they were to be themselves with each other. The miscommunication in this didn’t infuriate me to the same degree and the previous one did! The romance in this gave me all the right warm and fuzzies, and don’t even get me started on the letters. I am so looking forward to seeing Kira and Bennett again in future books.
