Colliding With Fate by A.E. Valdez
5.0
Colliding with Fate by A.E. Valdez is a spin-the-block read for me, and revisiting it almost a year later was just as good as the first time. Kyrell Knight is everything you’d expect—handsome, arrogant, rich, and carrying a huge chip on his shoulder. He’s the type to show women a good time but doesn’t have the emotional bandwidth for anything beyond a fling. That is, until Quinn Halifax sticks to him.
Quinn is a beautiful, feisty, and organized nurse, but she’s ready to let loose for once. What starts as a mutual distraction between Quinn and Kyrell turns into something neither of them expected—a collision in the best and worst ways. Their friends-with-benefits arrangement is filled with spice, petty moments, and humor, but what I love most is how Valdez shows both characters growing individually. Through the grief of losing a parent, the ache of family rejection, and the power of found family, their journey feels authentic and moving.
Valdez has a gift for pulling out deep emotions and leaving readers with some of the most beautiful, thought-provoking quotes. This is one of my favorite love stories—an unforgettable tale of healing, love, and fate. Highly recommend it for anyone who loves a spicy romance with substance!
