Ove is such a loveable grumpy old man <3. This whole novel shows readers how we might empathize with the curmudgeons in our lives and love them for who they are! I really enjoyed Ove’s ending as well, it was ironically beautiful and came to a full circle. This is a solid literary read, i watched the movie before reading the book so I didn’t cry but i definitely did during the movie. That being said, there’s enough details and changes in the novel that made me like the book more than the movie! There might be some TW topics/scenes but they were written in a lighthearted manner that had you smiling at the irony of each event.
