Every once in a while you read a book that makes you question your skills as a writer. A story rich and deep, with an edge. That holds you at gunpoint and won't let you stop reading. Trail of Lightning is one of those books.

Original, dark, full of raw humor, and Maggie, a badass main character who doesn't quit. I LOVED every second. Snatch up a copy and read the hell out of it. But make sure you don't have anything else to do because you are not going to be able to put it down.
