As someone that hasn’t rad a rom-com in years- I was completely hooked. The plot at times felt a little too predictable and January seemed to just to conclusions that I really didn’t understand- however this is to be expected. I really enjoyed the conversation about women’s literature in the book and how it shouldn’t be snubbed. That’s exactly how I feel about this story, there are some fantastic discussions about love, accepting your family for who they are, and how to carry on when life throws shit at you. Was a fun book that I ate up!
