One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston

3.0

I can tell the author has improved as a writer, because the flow of this story is much better than the first. Less telling, more showing, as English professors everywhere, would say. I was a bit less invested on the subject matter and found the stakes to be less gripping than her debut novel, but McQuiston still paints a good picture of a young queer girl in New York City, trying to find her way and stumbling in on love.
