Better than the first book. It’s way more hope-filled instead of angsty, and I liked the pacing, spice level, and friends-to-lovers arc more. Watching Reid’s journey with sobriety was so touching, and I loved seeing how his Jewish representation as a character differed from Zach in the previous book.
3/5 spice
