this was super fun and such a hilariously realistic view and possible called a bit of a satire of typical fantasy tropes.

this story starts the moment the prophecy is full filled and follows on about what comes after the heroes win.

it’s defiantly the kind of book where you are either  utterly entertained and grinning from the first few pages and love the book or the tone of this will get on your nerves.

sure there is a lot more to this book than just poking a bit of fun of the over much used and known fantasy tropes but it’s also a lovely book about a group of friends that lived through hardships together and feel connected with each other because of that but also because the just started to like each other.

it’s also a bit of a romance but again with a bit of a comedy aspect to it.

i loved the friendship

i utterly adored how this is the very first fantasy book that shows that you can write a fantasy story and normalize that rape isn’t okay and actually horrific and that pressuring or making someone do something against their will isn’t okay.

that it’s perfectly doable to write a story were it’s normalized that the sex orientation in a relationship is unimportant and that’s just how it is. who cares if someone has a man or a woman as a partner? who cares if it’s one or two? as long as everyone is happy and knows that they are doing, that’s perfectly fine.

it’s was so lovely to have this and see this here. and i really hope we will finally see more fantasy stories where more authors have realized that they are creating a world and can literary do what every they want with it.

i utterly and completely loved this book and can’t wait to read more by the author.
