The Last House on Needless Street by Catriona Ward
5.0
****SPOILERS****
Now that thats out the way. Catriona has done well to take multiple persons with mental health and build so much compassion for them...at the end of course. That is because in the beginning Ted is that nasty creepy man that does nasty creepy things to children. Then you have Dee Dee who knows he IS THE KILLER. Needless to say (pun there if you want it)...Two separate cases of mental health collide to bring have you cheering for both of them in the battle that you have to try to remember is not even between them. They are battling themselves. Ted sadly has to fight himself and the alters along with those in their daily lives like the bug man...what an ass!
WHEW all this to say well done. I was confused thee entire time, and to know that Ted is NOT GUILTY of anything is amazing and does not follow the trope that those that have mental illness are going to kill and/harm.
P.S. AWESOME imagery is also in this book. I highlighted a few!
