Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren
4.5
This is the only Christina Lauren book I've read that I love. I loved the dual timelines in this book and how we get to see a young Macy and Elliot fall in love. A love that was so honest, you can't help but to fall in love with them. When they reconnect a decade later so much has happened in each other's life that the other does not know about. As they navigate how they can be in each other's life again in the present timeline, in the past timeline the book is leading up to the reveal as to why they were no longer in each other's life and this was the part I disliked! I think our authors completely glossed over what happened to Elliot without much explanation. When it truly deserved to be a bigger conversation in my opinion.
