I really should’ve DNF’d, but I didn’t.
This book is much more of a teller than a shower. Things are very spelled out. Cheeky phrases are frequently repeated.
The old vampire dude and young ditzy girl trope is alive and well here. At one point he calls her mascara vile, which is apparently a very charming thing to say because he likes her better without makeup.
The one sex scene was good.
