Love and Other Conspiracies by Mallory Marlowe
5.0
I finished Love and Other Conspiracies days ago, and I’m still thinking about how much I loved it. The premise is unlike anything I’ve read. I bet @mallorymarlowewrites had so much fun researching all these paranormal conspiracy theories to write into this story. Paranormal conspiracy theories have always interested me, so this book intrigued me. Hallie and Hayden had great and believable chemistry. The TV show element of the book was entertaining. I appreciate how the author included a side character with ALS. This is not a spoiler to the story since it happens in the past. She depicted the honest impacts on the person with ALS and their care partner(s) through the disease progression. I am a part of an ALS Multidisciplinary Clinic and felt this was an accurate representation of how one family could feel with this diagnosis. The narrator, Alex Finke, did a great job and added to the depth of the story.
