The One Hundred Nights of Hero by Isabel Greenberg

5.0

Do you like misandrist, meta, interwoven fairy tale retellings that mainly feature brainy women who dare to revolt against the grossest of men through READING & STORYTELLING? Then, boy, is this book for you!

This art style is not my fave, and I wish Little, Brown had listed the artistic medium in the back matter, but it fit: folky yet modern and presented with a limited color palette.

One critique I have is that the font was sometimes too small and was overpowered by the details of the illustrations. I had to read and view very carefully as not to miss any text.
