The Lenten Tree: Devotions for Children and Adults to Prepare for Christ's Death and His Resurrection by Dean Lambert Smith
5.0
Every lent I try and read a religious book for the 40 days.
This books was nice this year in that I didn't have to keep track of how much I was reading, instead it gave me a little passage to read alone with a prayer and bible verses to look up if I wanted to.
It even has a child and adult section for each day (minus all Sunday's except Easter), making it easy for you to read along with a child as well if you had one.
Next year I hope to find another book like this, or maybe I'll just re read this one as I'm sure I will have forgotten some of it by then.
