I loved Werner's character development, but Marie-Laurie's character did not really get to develop that much. The subplot involving von Rumpel was rather uninteresting, even though it's important to the plot. Volkheimer was a really interesting character! The writing style was exquisitely beautiful, and I liked how short the chapters were.
Moderate: Rape
