Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas
5.0
I have no words for how absloutly amazing and beautiful this story was! I'm just in shock. That ending had me all sorts of emotional and I just can't. One moment my heart was broken, the next I was absolutely terrified, and then the next I was crying tears of joy. This is such a beautiful story of healing and hope and I was in awe.
I was kind of in the middle on Chaol before reading this book. I didn't hate him by any means and I actually quite liked him in earlier books but during QOS I just was annoyed by him. Of course his actions were completely understandable but still made me like him a little less. After reading this book I've absloutly fallen in love with him again and enjoyed so much reading his journey. I'm also in love with Yrene Towers and have been from the first page she was on. It was so incredible to read and explore this practically new world Sarah J Maas has created with The Southern Continent and its people and its culture.
I'm probably a broken record at this point, but I think you get the idea of how I felt about this book.
My only problem with the book was that I felt like Nesyrn's chapters didn't snag me as much and felt a little boring at times. I don't hate her by any means but she's just not one of my favorite characters. Towards the end of the book I was a lot more invested in her story though.
Overall, I absolutely adored this book and am even more excited for TOG7. 😍😍
