I truly am at a loss for words. This book was beautiful and heartbreaking and I felt it deep in my soul. Ari Wright has always been a fantastic writer, but wow. This book was a masterpiece. FOR ALWAYS is one of those books you can tell the author bled onto the page for because the depth of emotion and humanity is astounding. I cannot recommend this gorgeous book enough. I will be thinking about Ellie and Gray for a long time to come.

Tropes: Second chance, soulmates, parallel timelines, he falls first, autumn romance, love after SA
FMC: Ella - loves to knit, extremely kind & thoughtful, introspective, sweet & cozy, emotionally strong, creative, author
MMC: Grayson - privileged but down to earth, extremely devoted, puts Ella above every and anything, creative, has a lot on his shoulders, protective but not overly so
Intimacy: explicit, sweet with a little spice, good girl

A few of my favorite quotes:

- Dedication: To every victim who became a survivor. With the hope these words might remind you how very brave and brilliant you truly are.
- Connection, momentum. The feeling of finding something in a stranger that you thought only existed within yourself.
- For Gray, for always.
- I liked her name - delicate and difference. It reminded me of sunshine and once-upon-a-times.
- "You are horrible at taking compliments...You'll have to get better. Because I don't think I'm going to stop."
-...some piece of me knows her. Always has, from the moment I laid eyes on her. Years after that godforsaken subway ride, my soul still snaps-to the second I see her.
- Of course I loved her. My whole world began and ended with her. Every other f****** thing—my degree, the business, my family’s reputation, the money—could go to h*** for all I cared. The only one I truly needed was Ella.
- “I haven’t met very many people who are that brave.” “To face their attackers?” “No.” She smiles softly again. “To love that hard.”
