Unfortunately, this did what C.S. Pacat's first Captive Prince book did to me, which was be kind of boring and lackluster in the beginning and then you hit the last 100 pages and WHAM!

Because man...the last like 100 pages of this was absolutely wild, and I'm so excited to see where this goes now.
