The Letter Killers Club is a masterpiece by Krzhizhanovsky, both mocking and celebrating the written word in several unique and wholly different stories connected by a surprisingly engaging framing device that will keep a reader rapt to the page, unwilling to just put the book down until the exhaustion. It's the demand of the words themselves, they insist on being read and can't be so easily tamed.
