I bought this because I loved the cover and it was cheap but when I got it I saw on the back and online that it was marketed as the next Gone Girl or some shit. Yeah knowing that, I get why people disliked it. I mean I fucking loved it, especially the more ‘disturbing’ parts. The protagonist is cunty kinda like the bitch in Gone Girl but they are nothing alike. Also it constantly goes back and forth, present-past, and I read that a lot of people only liked the past and hated the present and since it was written like that I understand why people didn’t wanna finish it.
It’s a 4.5? but I don’t wanna give it 4 stars. I’m generous like that.
